參加線上會議不僅要繃緊神經聆聽會議內容，也要適時發言表達自己的意見，是否讓你備感壓力呢？今天Funday小編要來教你如何提出建議，以及回應其他人的提議。
1.Making suggestions： 會議中你可能需要針對不同議案表達意見或提出建議，這時候情態動詞（modal verb）就能派上用場了。
○should、ought to、might 表示可能是好的點子，但並非是必須要做的，例如：
📝We ought to reduce paper consumption in our office.
我們應該要減少辦公事的紙張消耗。
📝We might want to consider hiring another part-time assistant to help with this.
我們可能要考慮聘請另一位兼職助理來幫忙解決這個問題。
📝I think we should make a tune-up for the latest operating system a priority this month.
我認為我們應該把為最新作業系統做好準備作為本月的優先事項。
○have to、need to表示必須要做的，語氣更為強烈，例如：
📝We have to expedite the production line for hand sanitizer.
我們必須加速乾洗手劑的生產線。
📝We don’t need to finalize the budget at the moment.
目前我們不需要把預算定案。
2.Agreeing with suggestions：如果你同意會中的提議，可以這麼說：
📝That sounds good.
聽起來很不錯。
📝I agree with doubling our budget.
我同意增加一倍的預算。
📝Let’s go with this idea.
我們就採用這個想法吧。
3.Disagreeing with suggestions：假若你不同意會中的提議，當然可以表達反對，但同時也要提出你的看法，例如：
📝Good suggestion, but I see a few problems.
這個建議很好，但我看到一些問題。
📝To be honest, I am not sure about this idea. I think specifically targeting young people is a higher priority right now.
老實說，我不確定這個想法，我認為專門以年輕人為目標是現在更重要的項目。
📝I see your point, however, I don’t think rushing through the legislation is a good idea. There are many other aspects to be considered.
我了解你的意思，但是，我認為匆忙通過立法不是一個好主意，還有許多其他方面需要考慮。
