什麼都要吃到飽！「吃到飽」的英文怎麼說？

三五好友聚餐時，為了滿足不同人對不同美食的喜好，常常會選擇吃到飽自助餐，在輕鬆的用餐環境下，各式美食和甜點，一次一網打盡。臺灣人最愛的吃到飽餐廳，你知道英文怎麼說嗎？跟著Funday一起來學習相關的字彙和對話吧！

buffet

buffet來自法文，t不發音，重音在第二音節，意思是「自助餐」。這種用餐方式是將食物放在公開的位置，讓大家自行拿取想吃的東西，常見於飯店餐廳、商務會議或婚宴場合。

all-you-can-eat

這個形容詞直白的看就是全部你都能吃的意思，也就是「吃到飽的」，all-you-can-eat buffet則是吃到飽自助餐。

bottomless

首先來看bottom這個字，當名詞時，意思是指「底部」。“Bottoms up!”從字面上來看是底部朝上，其實就是「一飲而盡、乾杯」的意思，喝完酒時將酒杯倒過來底部朝上，證明喝得一滴不剩。bottom後面加上有否定意味的字根-less，變成bottomless，為形容詞，意指「無限的、極深的」。同義字有endless、limitless和unlimited。

refill

refill動名詞同形，有「再裝滿」的意思。另外，在醫療用語上，prescription refill指的是「補充處方」。

Hank: Hey, have you tried that new all-you-can-eat buffet near our school?

漢克：嘿，你有去過我們學校附近新開的吃到飽自助餐廳嗎？

Jessie: No, I haven’t been there yet. What’s so special about it?

潔西：不，我還沒去過。有什麼特別的嗎？

Hank: Well, they have a bottomless buffet with a wide variety of cuisines. You can literally refill your plate as many times as you want!

漢克：他們是無限量的自助餐，有各式各樣的美食，你想拿幾盤食物都可以。

Jessie: Wow, that sounds fantastic! I love the idea of unlimited food options.

潔西：哇，聽起來很讚耶！我喜歡無限的食物選擇。

Hank: Tell me about it! You can go up to the different food stations and pick whatever you like. They have everything from salads to sushi, and even a dessert bar with unlimited ice cream!

漢克：可不是嘛！你可以到不同的食物區拿你想要的東西，他們從沙拉到壽司，應有盡有，甚至還有提供無限量冰淇淋的甜點吧！

Jessie: That’s incredible! I can’t resist a good dessert selection. I’ll definitely save some room for the ice cream.

潔西：太棒了！我無法抗拒好吃的甜點，我一定會留肚子吃冰淇淋的。

Hank: Let’s plan a visit there soon. I’ve been craving a good buffet experience for a while now.

漢克：我們趕快計畫去吃吧。我想要吃一頓好吃的自助餐已經很久了。

Jessie: Absolutely! Just make sure you come with an empty stomach.

潔西：當然！記得要空腹去啊。

Hank: Don’t worry. I got this.

漢克：別擔心，我知道。
