This is where Quasar came in. Seeking to create a design that could show that being LGBT is not limited to loving someone of the same sex, he created “Progress”, a flag that adds an arrow of black, brown, and the trans colors, to the hoist of Baker’s original flag — left unchanged so as not to take away from the original meaning.

According to Quasar, this is to highlight what is most important to the community’s climate and to symbolize that progress needs to be made.
