Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently reached a deal to normalize relations in a major diplomatic breakthrough brokered by US President Donald Trump.

For the Palestinians, the deal is a huge blow as they regard it as a sign of waning support for their cause among fellow Arabs. Hamas condemned the Israel-UAE agreement, which it said was a “treacherous stab in the back.”
