Bradley and Angela are colleagues. Angela is asking Bradley about how to use a cashier’s check.

Angela: Hey, Bradley, have you ever used a cashier’s check?

Bradley: Oh, that makes sense. It is kind of like a personal check, but since the bank writes it, the funds are guaranteed.

Angela: So, can I just go to the bank to get one of them?

Bradley: Yeah, you can just go to the bank where you have your checking account, and the teller will write a check that directly takes the funds out of your account. In your case, the check will be made payable to the person you are buying this TV from, so make sure that you have the payee’s name spelled correctly.
布萊德利：可以啊，你可以直接去你開支票帳戶的銀行，行員就會開一張直接從你戶頭扣款的本票。就你的例子來說，那張本票的抬頭人就是賣電視給你的人，所以要確定你拼對收款人的名字。
