According to the Associated Press, workers from an outsourced manufacturer for Zara and other retailers have been going into the stores and leaving the notes inside the clothes.

The notes are pleas to raise awareness of workers who were left unpaid after third-party manufacturer Bravo Tekstil closed down overnight in July 2016.

In response to the news, Zara’s parent company said it is currently working on a proposal with Mango and Next to establish a hardship fund for the workers to cover unpaid wages and severance payments for workers.
ZARA母公司回應該新聞時表示，目前正在和Mango和Next研議針對受影響的員工建立一筆急難救助金，將用於支付積欠薪資及遣散費。
