In an attempt to inspire Americans to join the nation’s newest military service, the U.S. Space Force (USSF) rolled out its first official recruitment video, telling viewers, “Maybe your purpose on this planet… isn’t on this planet.”

The video included footage of satellite control rooms, service members in spacesuits, and even revealed a quick glimpse of the X-37B spaceplane, which is an example of the US Department of Defense’s efforts to be more open about its space capabilities.

According to its website, the USSF “organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space.”
