Morris Chang, founder and former chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), will be the nation’s representative to attend next month’s Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Papua New Guinea, President Tsai Ing-wen announced on Wednesday.
蔡英文總統於上週三宣布，台積電的創辦人和前董事長張忠謀將代表台灣參加於巴布亞紐幾內亞舉行的亞太經濟合作組織（APEC）峰會。

Chang told reporters that he plans to use this year’s occasion to address how small economies deal with the challenges of emerging economic nationalism.
