Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) said on Thursday that it will continue to supply chips to Huawei, even as other companies in the global semiconductor ecosystem are complying with a U.S. ban on supplies to the Chinese electronics company.

At TSMC’s Technology Symposium 2019, the company’s spokesperson Elizabeth Sun confirmed that the company will maintain supplies to Huawei’s chip arm HiSilicon.

TSMC said that the business complies with international trade rules, as its manufacturing process does not involve more than 25% U.S.-origin technology.
