Indie superstar, Tsai Chin, has announced she will be at the Beijing Strawberry Music Festival on Monday April 30.

“I’m not just going to sing, I want to see what young people are doing. I have been producing my own music for over 40 years and never caved in to major record labels. So now I want to see what others can do. I’m here. Show me what you’ve got!” said Tsai.

Festival founder, Shen Lihui, said that he is extremely excited to see her perform.

Tsai’s legacy—which includes Broadway, classic Chinese music, and having hosted her own radio show—has inspired an entire generation of artists, he explained.

The Beijing Strawberry Music Festival will run from April 29 to May 1.
