US President Donald Trump shrugged off the potential impact his executive order banning WeChat could have on Apple’s iPhone sales in China.

Earlier in August, Trump signed two executive orders that would prohibit Americans from conducting transactions with the Chinese-owned apps TikTok and WeChat. This, in fact, would ban both apps. US companies including Apple, Ford, Walmart and Disney were reportedly lobbying against the executive order targeting WeChat.
