
大自然禮讚
A series of concerts and cultural activities celebrating the culture of the Truku tribe is set to return this month.
一系列歌頌太魯閣族文化的音樂會和文化活動在這個月重返太魯閣國家公園。

Held by the Taroko National Park administration, the six events showcase the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous Truku people, and will include music concerts using traditional instruments such as the jaw harp, xylophone and flute as well as demonstrations of local weaving, wickerwork and craftsmanship.
太魯閣國家公園管理處將舉辦6項活動,展現太魯閣族豐富的文化遺產,其中包含口簧琴、木琴和短笛等傳統樂器的演奏會,以及當地的織布、藤編等製作工藝的體驗活動。

“The Truku make their instruments out of what is available to them in nature. The instruments are an important part of the songs and dances they perform during ceremonies and rituals, such as crop planting and harvesting,” said Zhang Deng-wen, Deputy Director of Taroko National Park.
太魯閣國家公園管理處副處長張登文表示:「太魯閣族樂器多取自於大自然的植物,透過自製的樂器吟唱,搭配舞蹈,在慶典及祭儀中如播種祭、收穫祭等演出。

This year, the performances will be held at the Taroko Visitors Center on April 14, May 5, June 9, September 8, November 10 and December 8.
今年的演出在太魯閣遊客中心舉辦,分別是4月14日、5月5日、6月9日、9月8日、11月10日及12月8日。

The concerts will take place at 3pm on each event day, and will feature depictions of traditional Truku life by local music and dance groups including Ketusan Music Studio, Sioulin Township Taroko Traditional Culture Development Association, and Ayug Music and Dance Group.
部落音樂會於每個活動日下午3時開演,分別由葛都桑音樂工作室、秀林鄉太魯閣族傳統文化發展協會、峽谷樂舞團等傳統樂舞團體擔綱演出。
