ICIJ director Gerard Ryle said that he expects the Pandora Papers to have greater repercussions than previous leaks, for they were made public in the midst of a pandemic that has worsened inequalities and forced governments to borrow huge amounts of money, which will become a burden on ordinary taxpayers.
