There’s a new transfer student from Europe in Fiona’s class. She and Leo are talking about her.

Fiona: Did you see the new transfer student?
菲歐娜：你有見過那個新來的轉學生了嗎？
Leo: There are two. Which one are you talking about?
里歐：有兩個轉學生。你說的是哪個？
Fiona: The one in my history class. She transferred from a school in Europe.
菲歐娜：我歷史課上的。她從歐洲轉學來。
Leo: Oh, no I didn’t. How is she?
里歐：噢。還沒。她人如何？
Fiona: She’s a bit cold.
菲歐娜：她有點冷漠。
cold(adj.)冷漠的、冰冷的=not friendly
Leo: You mean she doesn’t talk much?
里歐：妳是說她不太說話？
Fiona: Yes, and she dresses all black every day.
菲歐娜：對，而且她永遠都一身黑。

Leo: You should introduce yourself to her. Maybe she’s totally different from what you think.
里歐：妳應該去跟她認識認識，也許她是一個不一樣性格的人。

Fiona: You think so?
菲歐娜：你這樣覺得嗎？

Leo: Yeah, why not? I’m sure she won’t bite.
里歐：對啊，何不？別怕，她又不會咬人。
