Bubble tea, also known as tapioca tea, is a tea-based drink that originated in Taiwan. Now the drink has taken the world by storm, springing up like mushrooms around the world.
珍珠奶茶在英文中可稱為bubble tea或是tapioca tea，它是一種源自台灣的茶飲。現在這個飲料席捲全球，在世界各地如雨後春筍般湧現。

Then, at a staff meeting, his product manager decided to put fen yuan, a typical Taiwanese dessert, into iced tea just for fun.

On the other hand, the founder of Hanlin Teahouse, Tu Tsong-He, also claims to be the true originator. According to Tu, he made the drink by adding white fen yuan into tea.
