The International Skating Union (ISU) has canceled Taiwan’s right to host an international figure skating event less than four months before the tournament was scheduled to take place.

The ISU said that the decision was made at a recent meeting, and that the venue has been changed to Dongguan in China’s Guangdong Province.

The ISU said that several members, including the CTSU, had agreed that it would be “preferable” to host the Challenger level event in another Asian country.
