A survey conducted by the job bank found that semiconductor manufacturers, telecoms and electronics suppliers offer the top three highest annual wages respectively.
這家人力銀行所進行的調查發現， 半導體製造商、電信業者和電子供應商個別是提供最高年薪的前三名。
In fact, the average annual salary in the semiconductor field has reached NT$969,000, with integrated circuit design engineers enjoying the highest average salary of NT$1.37 million.
事實上，半導體界平均年薪已來到每年新台幣96萬9千元，而積體電路設計工程師的平均年薪最高，來到每年新台幣137萬元。
According to 104 Job Bank, the semiconductor “industry has been in a favorable position for at least three years and remains highly profitable,” which has allowed companies to compete for talent by offering higher wages.

Due to the economic downturn and the effects of COVID-19 on some industries, average wages in the financial sector are predicted to fall 7.9% this year, while average pay for the electronic component manufacturing sector will fall by 2.1% and the construction sector by 1.9%.

Despite almost half of Taiwanese companies expecting business to decline until the fourth quarter next year, the job bank notes that workers for 95.9% of Taiwanese firms can still look forward to year-end bonuses of around 1.33 months of salary this year.
