The UK government has decided to start replacing Chinese-language teachers from China with those from Taiwan. This comes as fears of Chinese spying in the UK have recently been increasing.

Because of this, several high-level British officials, including Home Secretary Suella Braverman and Security Minister Tom Tugendhat, have been trying to shut down the Confucius Institutes in the country.
