網路募資控告挪威政府
A group of Taiwanese students studying in Norway are planning to sue the Norwegian government for changing their nationality to “China” on their visas.
一群在挪威留學的台灣學生正計劃控告挪威政府，將他們簽證上的國籍改成「中國」。

Last March, a Taiwanese law student in Norway, who identified himself only as Joseph, formed a student group to urge the Norwegian authorities to change their nationality on the residency cards back to “Taiwan”.
去年三月，一位化名「Joseph」的台灣法律系學生，號召一群學生，向挪威當局提請訴願，希望將居留證上的國籍改回「台灣」。

They asserted the government’s disrespect of the Taiwanese people’s identity has contravened its own constitution, the European Convention on Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
他們主張，挪威政府不尊重台灣人民的身份違反了自己的憲法、《歐洲人權公約》及《公民權利和政治權利國際公約》。

However, the Norwegian government delayed the petition process and later rejected the request on the grounds that “such designation does not affect the interested party’s rights and obligations in Norway.”
但挪威政府卻一再拖延訴願程序的進行，最後甚至以「此一註記並未對當事人在挪威的權利和義務造成影響」為由，駁回台灣學生的請求。

Finally, the students decided to file a lawsuit against the Norwegian government.

They launched a campaign online on the crowdfunding platform “zeczec” to raise the necessary funds.

The initiator Joseph said that they hope to raise enough money for 4 trials — around NT$4.88 million. So far, they have collected NT$1.02 million, which is close to the first phase target of NT$1.22 million.
發起人Jospeph說，他們希望能募到4個審理庭，約488萬台幣的經費；而活動截至目前為止，已經募得約102萬元，距離首階段目標122萬元相當接近。

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said that it is keeping in close contact with the students and will offer all necessary assistance.

Meanwhile, the ministry has been engaging in talks with the Norwegian government over the name-change issue via its representative office in Sweden, urging it to amend the name as soon as possible.
