Kim: Wisconsin. It’s a state in the north of the country, not far from the Canadian border.

Terry: Wisconsin? You’re in luck then. I just read that now Taiwanese people can apply for driver’s licenses in Wisconsin without having to take a test.
泰瑞：威斯康辛州？那妳很幸運耶！我剛剛才看到一個消息說台灣人現在可以不用考試，就在威斯康辛申請駕照。

Kim: I heard it, too. It’s a new deal that Taiwan made with that state. Now there are 29 states in the US where Taiwanese drivers can exchange their license without taking a test.
金：我也聽說了。這是台灣與該州制定的一項新協議；現在美國有29個州是台灣駕駛們不用考試便能以駕照交換當地駕照。

Terry: It should make living there much more convenient, because you need a car to get around in America.

Kim: You do. It’s lucky then that I’ve already passed my driving test. Now all I’ve got to do is get on the plane!
