Taiwan’s legislature has passed a new law to better protect delivery workers and regulate delivery platforms.
台灣立法院已通過新法加強保障外送員權益，並管理外送平台。

The law aims to protect the rights of delivery workers, while also setting clearer rules for platform companies.
這項法律的目標是保障外送員的權益，並針對外送平台業者建立更明確的規範。

Under the new law, delivery workers must receive a basic payment for each order.
根據新法規定，外送員每筆訂單都必須有基本報酬。

Depending on the time spent on that order, this payment cannot be lower than 1.25 times the hourly minimum wage and must be at least NT$45 per order.
基本報酬依實際外送服務時間計算，不得低於最低工資時薪的1.25倍，且每單至少新台幣45元。

The guaranteed amount will be adjusted every year based on changes to the minimum wage.
保障金額將依最低工資調整幅度，每年公告調整。

If platforms fail to follow these payment rules, they may face fines.
若平台未依規定給付報酬，將可能面臨罰鍰。

The law also states that delivery platforms must provide insurance and create a fair complaint system.
新法也明定，外送平台必須為外送員投保相關保險，並建立公平的申訴制度。

Workers cannot be treated unfairly for filing complaints.
平台不得因申訴而對外送員有不利對待。
