The Taiwan Blood Services Foundation (TBS) has urged the public to donate blood as its stock levels are expected to last for only 4.7 days.

From January 4 to February 3, the blood donation centers have extended the blood donation service for one hour in Taipei, Yilan and Hualien, in hopes of collecting more blood in order to reach the officially designated safe level of seven days.
