Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center announced that starting March 19, all foreigners are banned from entering Taiwan, as confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus continue to stream in.

So far, Taiwan has managed to keep the number of confirmed coronavirus cases relatively low during the outbreak, but over the past two weeks there has been a surge in the number as Taiwanese travelers return from abroad, bringing the infection number to over 100.
