Wang Yao-ting, the president of Taiwan Power Co., or Taipower, announced on Monday, April 22 that he would stay on in his role despite offering to resign several days earlier.

Wang also said that he will let Lai Ching-te’s administration decide whether he should continue to act as Taipower’s president in the future.
