迪倫：真的假的？太誇張了吧！
Lisa: Yeah, he even threw things at them. The zoo said it’s illegal.
麗莎：真的啊，他還朝他們丟東西。動物園說這是違法的。
throw sth. at sb.向～丟～illegal(adj.)非法的legal(adj.)合法的
Dylan: I hope they press charges. That’s so irresponsible.
迪倫：希望他們提告，這行為太不負責任了。
press charges提起訴訟、控告press charges against sb. for+原因:因～而對～控告irresponsible(adj.)不負責任的responsible(adj.)有責任的responsibility(n.)責任
Lisa: They are! And they’re checking if the hyenas are okay.
麗莎：他們會提告的！而且還在檢查鬣狗的狀況。
Dylan: Poor animals. They didn’t deserve that.
迪倫：可憐的動物，根本不該受到這種對待。
deserve(v.)值得、應該得到deserve to VR值得～
Lisa: Exactly. Zoo rules are there to protect everyone.
麗莎：就是啊。動物園的規定是為了保護大家的安全。
protect(v.)保護protect sb.保護某人protect sb. from…保護～免於受到威脅或傷害
Dylan: I don’t get why people act like that. Just enjoy the animals from a distance.
迪倫：我不懂為什麼有人會這樣做，好好在遠處觀賞就好了。
