Taiwan’s Supreme Court on May 8 rejected appeals by YouTuber Chu Yu-chen, who goes by the handle Xiaoyu, and his assistant Chuang Hsin-jui for their December 2023 punishments to be reduced.
台灣最高法院於5月8日駁回了YouTuber朱玉宸（化名小玉）及其助理莊炘睿請求減輕2023年12月判刑的上訴。

With this decision, the court upheld Chu’s five-year sentence and Chuang’s four-and-a-half-year sentence for their crimes of producing deepfake pornography.
