A magnitude 7.2 earthquake ravaged the southwestern region of Haiti on August 14. More than 2,100 people have died, and over 12,000 were injured in the calamity, with at least 300 people still missing, the nation’s Civil Protection Agency said. Over 100,000 homes were damaged or destroyed in the disaster, leaving around 30,000 families homeless.
