Speaking at a press conference on the second day of the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. co-CEO Jong-hee Han said that many external factors will cause the South Korean tech giant’s economic woes to continue this year.

In fact, for the fourth quarter of 2022, the company saw their forecast operating profit drop 69% to 4.3 trillion won—a huge decrease from the 13.87 trillion won from the same time in 2021.
