Doctor: Ah, well, citrus juices are sour. They can irritate your throat and aggravate the condition. It’s better to avoid drinking tomato juice as well as alcoholic drinks. Try pomegranate juice, honey, chicken soup, and even fruit-flavored ice cream and popsicles to help ease the pain.
