The post office discovered this mistake on Thursday, Sept. 5.
郵局在9月5日（星期四）發現疏失。
It said the extra payments totaled NT$380 million.

The first salary payments for military personnel were sent on Tuesday, September 3.

However, the employee who processed the payments sent them again the next day, thinking there had been a problem with the payroll file.
不過，處理薪資支付的員工以為薪資檔案出了問題，隔天又重複發放。
