自由座風波
Brian and Meg are planning a trip on the Taiwan High Speed Rail from Taipei to Kaohsiung.
布萊恩和梅格正在計畫從台北搭高鐵到高雄。
Brian: I’m excited to take the High Speed Rail. It will be my first time!

Brian: Sounds good! I just heard that some passengers argued over non-reserved seats. I don’t want that to happen to us!

Meg: Wow! What happened?
梅格：哇！發生了什麼事？
Brian: A mother from a family of four wanted to sit with her children. But when someone moved for her to sit next to her kids, another woman took the seat. The woman gave up the seat, but she later poured water on one of the children.
布萊恩：一個四口之家的媽媽想和孩子坐在一起。但當有人讓位給她，讓她坐在孩子旁邊時，另一位女士卻佔了座位。雖然那位女士有讓出座位，但她後來竟然把水潑在其中一個孩子身上。

Meg: Oh no! That’s terrible!
梅格：天哪！那太糟糕了！
Brian: Yeah, then the mother poured water on the woman. The train conductor and security officer on the train had to be called. A lawmaker now wants the High Speed Rail to make changes to non-reserved seating because of this.
布萊恩：對啊，於是那個媽媽也把水潑在那個女士身上。高鐵的列車長和保全人員不得不出動。現在有位立委要求高鐵對自由座座位進行調整，就是因為這件事情。
