台灣1/5婦女曾受害
According to a survey by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, nearly 20% of women in Taiwan have experienced intimate partner violence in their lifetime. The report was released following news that Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Kao Chia-yu was abused by her boyfriend.
繼民進黨立委高嘉瑜遭男友施暴的消息傳出後，衛福部公布調查指出，台灣有近20％的女性在人生中曾經歷過親密伴侶暴力。

The most frequent occurrences of emotional abuse are “being neglected or treated indifferently by their partner,” “having to report their whereabouts to their partner all the time,” and “being insulted or demeaned by their partner.”
精神暴力出現最多的是「伴侶曾疏忽你或對你冷漠相待」，其次是「伴侶隨時要知道你的行蹤」，第三是「伴侶曾侮辱你或讓你覺得自己很糟」。
