Telecom equipment supplier Nokia has won a $14.1 million deal from NASA to build the first cellular network on the moon.

The Finnish company was selected by NASA to deploy a wireless 4G network on the lunar surface for NASA, as part of the space agency’s plans to establish a long-term human presence on the moon within the next decade.
