Remember that quirky girl living in Paris? The classic French film Amelie depicts the beauty of Paris, but director Jean-Pierre Jeunet has stated in a recent interview that he thinks it would be “a bad idea” to make a sequel because “Paris is ugly now”.

When asked about the possibility of reviving the classic, the French filmmaker also said that he can’t work with the leading actress of Amelie, Audrey Tautou, due to a limited budget.
