Yet another country has cut diplomatic ties with Taiwan in favor of China, and the latest is Nicaragua.
最近又有另一個國家與台灣斷絕外交關係，轉向支持中國，那個國家就是尼加拉瓜。

The announcement came after China’s deputy foreign minister Ma Zhaoxu and Laureano Ortega Murillo, son and advisor of President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega, met in Tianjin. The statement read, “The government of the Republic of Nicaragua today breaks diplomatic relations with Taiwan and ceases to have any contact or official relationship.”
中國外交部副部長馬朝旭和尼加拉瓜總統的兒子兼顧問勞雷亞諾·奧爾特加·穆里略在天津會晤後宣布了消息，聲明寫道：「尼加拉瓜共和國政府今天與台灣斷交，不再有任何接觸或正式關係。」

In addition, the country’s foreign ministry also recognized Beijing’s claim over Taiwan as a Chinese province.

In response to Nicaragua’s decision, the Taiwan government expressed regret, saying that “Taiwan has always been a sincere and reliable friend to Nicaragua and has long worked with Nicaragua to improve the livelihoods of its people and assist with its national development.”
