Mark and Tina are teachers at a high school. They are chatting.

Mark: Have you heard the news? The form of the college entrance exam will be changed again.

Mark: Yes. Both the GSAT and the AST will be changed. The GSAT will last for three days and the AST will be two days.

Tina: What about the subjects?
蒂娜：那科目呢？

Tina: And what about the date?
蒂娜：那日期呢？
Mark: The date for the AST will be put off. It will take place at the end of July.
馬克：指考的日期會延後到七月底舉行。
put off=postpone延期take place發生舉行at the end of…時間或是事物尾端、in the end=finally最後
Tina: Oh no! That means that half of the summer vacation will be gone.
蒂娜：哦，不！不就表示一半暑假都不見了嗎！
