Travis and Carly are university students chatting about their teachers.
Travis: I’m so happy all of my teachers this semester have been great.

Carly: Me too. But I guess not everyone is so lucky.

Travis: Yeah, that’s true. I just read about a teacher at National Taiwan University of Sport. Many of his students said that he bullied them in the past.
bully(v.)
Carly: Oh yeah. Some students reported that he said bad things to them. Others even said he stuck a knife into a desk and kicked down a door.

Travis: That’s so crazy. I didn’t know about those things! So why didn’t the Ministry of Education do anything about the teacher before?
Carly: I guess the MOE looked into what the students said, but it found the teacher wasn’t bullying them. A lawmaker just asked the MOE to look at the case again.

Travis: Well, it’s good that they are doing that. If the teacher did these things, he shouldn’t be teaching anymore.

Carly: That’s true. Hopefully the MOE and school will do what’s best after looking again.
