Apple recently recalled a number of 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops over a fire safety risk, stating that some units had batteries that may overheat and pose the problem.

Apple issued the recall in June, explaining in a statement that they had determined that, in a limited number of these older generation units, the battery may overheat and potentially catch fire.

MacBook Pro users can enter their laptop’s serial number on Apple’s recall page to see if it’s included in the FAA ban. If their unit is on the list, they can visit any Apple store to replace the battery for free.
MacBook Pro的用戶可以到蘋果的召回頁面中，輸入自己電腦的序號，便可得知自己的設備是否有被列為美國聯邦航空管理局的禁止名單中。如果發現自己的筆電在名單上，可以到Apple Store免費更換電池。
