While US President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial is going on, explosive claims in a new book by former national security adviser John Bolton have struck a chord of disharmony between Trump and a few of his fellow Republicans.

In his upcoming book entitled The Room Where It Happened, Bolton writes that Trump told him he wanted to withhold a roughly $400 million aid package to Ukraine, unless the country agreed to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, Trump’s political rivals.
