Japan may take Taiwan’s ban on certain imports of Japanese food to the World Trade Organization for arbitration, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono said on Sunday, after voters in Taiwan approved a referendum to maintain restrictions on Japanese food imports from five prefectures that were affected by the 2011 nuclear disaster at Fukushima.
