Taiwanese flat-panel display maker Innolux Corp said on Thursday that it has secured new orders from South Korean government agencies, as the country seeks to reduce dependence on Japanese imports amid a trade spat.

“South Korean firms are reluctant to buy displays from Japan. We have felt such changes,” Innolux president James Yang said during a media briefing at the 2019 Touch Taiwan trade show.
