The President of Indonesia has decided to move its capital from Jakarta to a new location.

While it is urgent for Indonesia to relocate its capital city, the administration has not yet decided on the exact location.

Indonesia`s Minister of National Development and Planning Board Chief said that they were considering the eastern side of the archipelago as the destination for the new capital. “However, such a move could take up to 10 years,” he said.
