Martin and Tiffany are colleagues. They are talking about how to get a higher credit limit on a credit card.
Martin: You mentioned last week that you were applying for a new credit card. Was your application approved?

Tiffany: Yes! I got the credit card from my bank, but the credit limit is pretty low because it’s my first card.
Martin: Well, once you start building credit by using the card and paying off some of the balance, there are a few ways you can increase your credit limit.
pay off還清pay down a debt償還部分欠款balance(n.)
Tiffany: Really? How can I go about it?
go about sth.著手處理某事=start to do sth.=deal with sth.
Martin: Well, after you use the card for a while, you might get an automatic increase. This is a reward for using it responsibly.

Martin: If you get a raise at work or somehow increase your income, you can also make a request online, or even call the bank, to see if you can boost your credit limit.
