Meta’s social media app Instagram started rolling out its “Teen Accounts” in the Asia-Pacific region during the week of Feb. 10.

Teen Accounts are designed for Instagram users aged 13 to 17.

One of the main safety features is that the accounts are automatically set to “private.” This allows only users’ “followers” to be able to message them or see their posts.
