Last week, manufacturers stepped on the accelerator. On September 11, Yamaha Motor announced that they will be working together with Taiwanese e-bike maker Gogoro, to develop a new series of electric scooters.

According to Yamaha, the two companies have already begun making plans for the future arrangement and will sign a contract by the end of the year.
