The Taiwanese electric scooter manufacturer says it will be launching a new vehicle sharing system in August.
這家台灣電動機車製造商表示將在8月推出新的機車共享系統，

Called GoShare, the program will start running next month in Taoyuan City, with a fleet of about 1,000 “Gogoro 2” scooters.

The GoShare platform will operate in a similar way to Taiwan’s public U-bike system, but GoShare users will have to pay a small monthly fee for enrollment and use of the smart network.

To sign up, users need to download an iOS or Android app and upload a photo of their driver’s license.

GoShare then uses AI software to match the user with the license’s photo before asking for payment information.

Once they are enrolled, GoShare users can use the app to check for and book available scooters in their area.
