The G7 announced a $600 billion global infrastructure initiative to support developing countries and counter China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

The US will aim to leverage a total of $200 billion for the program over the coming five years through a combination of federal financing and private sector investments. Adding to this is the $300 billion the EU pledged and contributions from other members. The total plan is currently worth $600 billion.
