Former esports champion and well-known YouTuber Kurtis Lau Wai-kin, known by his gamer name Toyz, has had his request for a lighter sentence rejected by Taiwan’s Supreme Court.
前電競冠軍、知名YouTuber劉偉健（遊戲暱稱Toyz）從輕量刑的請求遭台灣最高法院駁回。

Lau will now have to serve his original sentence of four years and two months in prison for selling marijuana.

Lau was arrested in 2021 by Taichung City police after he was found to be dealing drugs.

At the time, Lau admitted to the crime and gave police information about where he had purchased the marijuana to sell.
當時，劉偉健承認犯行，並向警方提供他在哪裡購買到大麻進行販賣的資訊。

Despite these actions, Lau was given more than four years in prison in 2022 for selling drugs.

The court said that even though Lau had been honest with police, he had set a bad example for his young fans.
法院表示，儘管劉偉健對警方從實招來，但他還是給年輕的粉絲們樹立了壞榜樣。

After receiving the sentence, Lau asked for it to be reduced because he had regretted his actions and had done work to help many charities.
在收到判決後，劉偉健要求減刑，因為他對自己的行為有悔意，而且曾做了許多幫助慈善機構的事。

However, in April 2024, the Supreme Court rejected his request due to the large amount of money Lau had spent on the drugs and the fact that he did not turn himself in to police.
然而，在2024年4月，最高法院因劉偉健在毒品上花費了大量金錢，而且沒有向警方自首，而拒絕了他的請求。
