An analysis of 19 different studies, published in the journal Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, found that people with the highest anthocyanin intake were 9% less likely to suffer from coronary heart disease and 8% less likely to die from causes related to heart disease, compared to those with the lowest intake.
