The Executive Yuan passed a special budget proposal on April 25.
行政院於4月25日通過特別預算案。
According to CNA News, this proposal authorizes an additional NT$410 billion to be added to the Cabinet’s general budgets “to meet economic and security challenges facing Taiwan over the next two years.”
根據中央社報導，該預算案授權追加新台幣4,100億元，「用於應對未來兩年台灣面臨的經濟與安全挑戰」。

Cabinet spokesperson Michelle Lee said the money would go toward boosting the Coast Guard, developing drone infrastructure, and upgrading information and communications systems.
